Myron Lieberman

Chairman of the Education Policy Institute, Senior Research Scholar, Social Philosophy and Policy Center, Bowling Green State University, author of The Teacher Unions (The Free Press, 1997) and more than a dozen other books. Lieberman has been active in teacher unions for most of his life, including as a candidate (winning one third of the votes) for national president of the American Federation of Teachers, and as developer and coordinator of the AFT's public policy education programs.
