Richard Zeller

Former professor of sociology at Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio. Zeller was hounded out of his job, after a 25-year career at BGSU, when he proposed teaching a course on contemporary political correctness which studied such issues as threats to free speech on university campuses.

There was a time that ... honorable people could disagree honorably; now, any challenge to the campus sacred cows (feminism, affirmative action, and multiculturalism) is denounced as evil.

Sep. 28, 2000 - quoted by Larry Elder in "The politically incorrect professor", published by Creators Syndicate Inc.
